Aptus Critical Messaging System (CMS)

For a technically superior critical messaging solution, look no further than the Aptus Critical Messaging System (CMS) from Alexys International.

The Aptus CMS is a new generation of critical messaging. Features include native integration to nurse call, email, SMS, Android App, Spectralink (including Pivot), FIP, CCTV and access control. It informs staff of all critical messages, allowing management to react to important events in a timely and informed manner.

The Alexys team uses a micro-service approach which allows us to develop applications rapidly. It also makes it easier for us to maintain a large complex project like a CMS than it is for our competitors who take the monolithic codebase path. The microservice architectural concept is used by big software players such as Netflix, Facebook and Amazon just to name a few.

The Aptus CMS is backwardly compatible with most legacy systems including those that still use serial communications, including many popular nurse call systems.

Aptus Aware

Aptus Aware, our new messaging App, works in conjunction with the Aptus CMS so that you will never miss a critical message. The Aptus CMS integrates alarms from many critical systems such as Nurse Call, Fire Alarm, Intruder Alarm, BMS and more.

The Aptus Aware App includes innovative functions such as real-time alarms, acknowledgement and history. Now you can receive messages on your Android device instead of carrying a separate pager or DECT phone. The Aptus Aware App makes messaging personal. Context aware messaging means that the right person receives the right message, on time, every time.

Predictive Dementia Care

The Aptus CMS also collects quantifiable data for our Predictive Dementia Care (PDC) system. PDC is individually tailored to each resident, based on their activities of daily living (ADL).

Our PDC system aids proactive care. It ensures that what happens behind closed doors remains private but is captured if an intervention or assessment is needed. Staff can use real data – not guesswork – when a care plan change is required. This means your staff can achieve the best result while maintaining the utmost respect for the resident.
